Earlier today, Ohio State announced that wideout James Clark will not return to Ohio State for next season. Now, another name reportedly will also head elsewhere.
According to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch, offensive lineman Tyler Gerald will also be transferring. Per May’s report, Gerald had not been participating in offseason conditioning at Ohio State over the last few weeks. An Ohio State spokesman reportedly confirmed May’s report as well.
Gerald was a four-star recruit in the 2016 recruiting class, picking the Buckeyes over Florida State and Penn State, among others, and was projected to possibly compete for a spot on the two deep this season.
