Today is the start of the US Open out at Los Angeles Country Club. It’s the first US Open played in LA in about 70 years. Two Ohio State Buckeyes will be starting their rounds today hoping to pull off the impossible and win one of golf’s four majors.
The first is a former Ohio State Buckeye. Ryan Armour will be trying to win his second PGA Tour event this week, having captured his only other win back in 2017. Armour was a Third-Team All-American in 1998 when he played for the Buckeyes and was an All-Big Ten selection in both 1995 and 1998.
