Former Ohio State Heisman-winning quarterback and potential medical marijuana entrepreneur Troy Smith fell on the wrong side of the law once again Friday night.
As Falycia Campbell of ABC News 6 first reported, Franklin County Sheriff's deputies arrested and charged Smith with possession of drug paraphernalia after stop at a D.U.I. checkpoint at approximately 9 p.m.
Deputies reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from Smith's vehicle upon the stop. Smith refused all sobriety tests and denied impairment. A subsequent search yielded various drug tools.
Deputies impounded the vehicle and issued a court summons.
