Tracking former Ohio State players during the NFL’s day of roster cuts and practice squad signings

Despite not looking great until the second half, the Ohio State Buckeyes won on Thursday night, and there was more than a few glimpses of potential future NFL talent from young players. For now though, 48 former players for the Scarlet and Gray made it through training camp on an NFL team roster — including three guys on IR. Saturday at 4 p.m. marks the deadline for teams to make mass cuts to get down to their final 53-man roster, and some OSU alumni have already been waived.

Several Buckeyes are on the bubble, including journeyman player Doran Grant and young guys like UDFA Cam Johnston and 7th round draft pick Noah Brown hoping to have done enough to make a team.
