Though the results of the battle have not been made public by coach Urban Meyer, it appears that TMZ has gotten wind of who the Ohio State Buckeyes will be starting at quarterback in Monday night’s season opener against Virginia Tech.
TMZ producer Keith Jackson posted on Twitter that “sources” had told him that sophomore J.T. Barrett would get the starting nod over junior Cardale Jones.

If true, this is certainly something of a controversial decision.
