THE SILVER BULLETS ARE BACK. Ohio State has the best defense in America entering 2024, according to Bill Connelly of ESPN. That means the sentence “The Silver Bullets are back,” will have a new meaning this season, as it will no longer reference a years-long wait for dominant defense — rather, a months-long wait until almost the same unit that took the field last fall returns for another campaign with the Buckeyes.
