Stop me if you've heard this one before, but Logan Stieber won a high-stakes wrestling tournament.
Stieber continued the success that he found at Ohio State (and Monroeville before Ohio State) with a championship at the Bill Farrell Open on Friday night.
Logan's title came at the non-Olympic weight of 61 kg (134 lb) in a star-studded bracket that included three other NCAA champions. As was his style in college, scoring points was not a difficulty for Stieber, as he rolled up three tech falls in four matches.
Stieber tech falled Andrew Hochstrasser, formerly of Boise State, in the quarterfinals by a score of 10-0.
