After the practice, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and the Buckeyes' linebackers met with the media on the indoor practice field. Knowles and his unit were the second ensemble of an Ohio State coach and players to hold press conferences, as Ryan Day and quarterbacks Kyle McCord, Devin Brown and Tristan Gebbia spoke on Wednesday.
