Ohio State reportedly has its new university president.
State University of New York chancellor Kristina Johnson has accepted the job and will be Michael Drake's successor, according to reports by Carl Campanile of the New York Post and Rachel Silberstein of the Times Union.
An unsigned letter of resignation to the State University of New York indicates she has agreed to become Ohio State's new president, beginning Sept. 1, per Silberstein's report.
Johnson has been SUNY's chancellor since September 2017. Previously, Johnson was the CEO of Cube Hydro Partners, a clean-infrastructure company that builds and operates hydropower plants in North America.
