Michigan State’s head coach Mark Dantonio knows all too well what a team can accomplish when they have the mindset they will just refuse to lose. He was the defensive coordinator for Ohio State in 2002 with a group of Buckeyes who believed they could not be defeated. Ohio State won the National Championship against overwhelming odds, and it appears Dantonio’s Spartans might be on the same path this season.
In 2002 Ohio State won seven of their 14 games by a touchdown or less, and this season six of Michigan State’s 12 wins have also been by seven points or less.
