The American Hockey Coaches Association announced its All-American selections for 2017. For the third time in the last five years, that list includes a Buckeye. Mason Jobst was named a Second Team All-American (West). This marks the tenth time a Buckeye has earned All-American distinction. It is the second occurrence during Steve Rohlik’s tenure as head coach.
This is a well deserved honor for Jobst. The sophomore chalked up another outstanding season in 2016-17. He was one of the nation’s top point producers, finishing seventh with 55 points (19 goals and 36 assists). He tied for second overall in assists and ranked third in power play points (30).
