Six members of the Ohio State men's lacrosse team were named All-Americans on Wednesday evening by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Leading the way was Ben Randall, a senior defenseman from Mason, Ohio, who was named to the first team. Randall was the first-ever USILA first-team All-American in program history. He started all 19 games this season for the Buckeyes.
Senior faceoff specialist Jake Withers was named to the second team. Withers, the two-time Big Ten Specialist of the Year, ranks fourth nationally in faceoff winning percentage at .661.
Third-team USILA All-Americans for Ohio State included freshman attackman Tre Leclaire and senior goalie Tom Carey.
