It was another good draft filled with players out of Ohio State, but there were a few undrafted free agents that didn’t quite make their team’s final 53-man roster over the weekend. It wasn’t surprising to see at least one Buckeye signing to a practice squad, as quarterback J.T. Barrett had a good camp with the Saints, but his chances of making the team were significantly diminished when New Orleans traded for Teddy Bridgewater.
It wasn’t just incoming rookies who were released ahead of the Sept. 1 roster deadline, there were a few big name Buckeyes who ended up being let go as well.
