A handful of former Ohio State basketball players will compete in the NBA Summer League this month, headlined by San Antonio Spurs guard Malaki Branham. Branham displayed intriguing potential during his rookie year and should have a chance to earn more minutes with the San Antonio Spurs next season.
Despite sitting out the summer league opener, Branham scored a game-high 32 points and five rebounds to help the Spurs secure a win last night. Other previous Ohio State standouts that are expected to play in the annual Summer League include EJ Liddell, Brice Sensabaugh, and Justice Sueing.
