A school-record 115 Ohio State student-athletes earned 2017 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar status, the conference announced Wednesday.
Senior center Billy Price and redshirt sophomore longsnapper Liam McCullough were the only two football players to be named.
To be named a Distinguished Scholar, a student-athlete must earn a 3.7 GPA or higher in the previous academic year. The conference combined for 1,016 honorees this year.
