Yesterday, Ohio State and Pittsburgh Steeler legend Ryan Shazier announced on Twitter that his fiancee Michelle Rodriguez is expecting the couple’s first child in January. Shazier has a son from a previous relationship.
A beloved figure in both Columbus and Pittsburgh, Shazier suffered a horrific back injury on Dec. 4 in a “Monday Night Football” game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Shazier suffered a spinal contusion that left him without use of his legs.
