It probably would've been easier to just name-drop Dabo Swinney. The Clemson head coach sent Ohio State fans into a frenzy this week by saying he didn't think an unbeaten team that only played six games should get into the College Football Playoff over teams like Florida and Texas A&M that have losses on their resumés but have played more games.
However, host Charissa Thompson, speaking in the final hour of Saturday's edition of Big Noon Kickoff, decided not to mention Swinney by name. Instead, interviewing head coach Ryan Day live on FOX, she asked him for his reaction to “some” people who think the Buckeyes haven't played enough games to earn a College Football Playoff berth.
