Revisiting Ohio State's Recent Quarterback Transfers And Their Performances At Other Programs

Joe Burrow announced May 8 that he would be leaving Ohio State to pursue other opportunities, after a quarterback battle with Dwayne Haskins seemingly left him on the outside looking in when it came to being the starter for the Buckeyes.

Ten days later, Burrow confirmed rumors that he would play the 2018 season at LSU. The Tigers had a quarterback competition of their own during spring practice, but a three-horse race between Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse, didn't result in a clear starter.

Ohio State doesn't have quarterbacks leave the program often, but when they do, the departing player's success has been minimal.
