A potential replacement for Jeff Boals on Thad Matta's staff is reportedly off the market. According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, new Vanderbilt coach Bryce Drew will hire Jake Diebler as an assistant coach.

Diebler has been Ohio State's video coordinator since the summer of 2013. He is the older brother of former Buckeye player Jon Diebler.
The last time Matta needed to fill an assistant coaching position he promoted then-video coordinator Greg Paulus.
