Recruiting Stars Don’t Always Align With NFL Stardom

As the NFL draft gets ready to kick off in a couple of days, many of the nation’s top collegiate football players are preparing for a moment that they seem destined for as early as their sophomore years in their high school programs. With four or five star rankings attached to their recruitment, anything less than a high selection might mean that their college careers could be looked at with a degree of disappointment.

On the flip side of that, a bevy of players are gearing up to hear their names called in the early rounds of the draft, despite coming into college with little to no fanfare.
