Ohio State's Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff hopes remain alive for another week, as the Buckeyes escaped East Lansing with a 17-16 win over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon.
Quarterback J.T. Barrett completed 10-of-22 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball 24 times for 124 yards. Running back Mike Weber added 118 yards and a touchdown, which put Ohio State up by seven in the third quarter.
Running back L.J. Scott scored on a 1-yard run to bring Michigan State within one late in the fourth quarter, but Malik Hooker and Chris Worley stepped in front a go-ahead two-point conversion attempt to keep the score at 17-16.
