Ohio State was back on the gridiron at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Thursday.
The Buckeyes completed their seventh practice of fall camp, as OSU draws closer to its season opener against Akron on Aug. 31.
Will Howard took most of the first-team reps at quarterback once again as Ryan Day said after practice that the Buckeyes have begun to narrow the competition down to Howard and Devin Brown. Day declined to name a starter on Thursday, but said Howard has "taken command" of Ohio State's offensive huddle.
The defensive line, meanwhile, got the best of an offensive line that was missing several players due to illness while Jeremiah Smith and Ohio State’s tight ends made plays in the passing game.
