Ohio State dominated its second straight opponent in the College Football Playoff on Wednesday.
The Buckeyes opened the New Year with a 41-21 thumping of Oregon in the Rose Bowl, avenging their earlier defeat from October.
Jeremiah Smith was unstoppable for Ohio State, as he caught seven passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Will Howard had his third 300-yard passing game of the season, completing 17 of 26 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions.
With the victory, Ohio State advances to the College Football Playoff semifinals in the Cotton Bowl against Texas on Jan.
