After one of the worst losses in the Thad Matta's Ohio State tenure Sunday at Indiana, the Buckeyes bounced back and improved to 4-1 in the Big Ten with a 94-68 blowout win against Rutgers at the Schottenstein Center.
Freshman guard JaQuan Lyle recorded Ohio State's second ever triple-double in conference play (16 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) and five other Buckeyes recorded double-digit points as the Scarlet and Gray, down two points at halftime, ran away from the undermanned Scarlet Knights.
