Penn State Quarterback Drew Allar Sidelined By Knee Injury One Week Before Nittany Lions Play Ohio State

Penn State’s starting quarterback has been sidelined by an injury one week before the Nittany Lions host Ohio State.

Drew Allar suffered an apparent knee injury late in the first half of the Nittany Lions’ game at Wisconsin on Saturday night and was replaced in the second half by backup quarterback Beau Pribula.

While the extent of Allar’s injury is unclear, it was significant enough that he was without his helmet on the sideline after warming up at halftime in an attempt to continue playing.

Drew Allar came out of then tunnel and began throwing, before walking over to James Franklin and talking.
