COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Greg Schiano was issued a ticket for failure to obey a traffic control device for his part in a car crash that involved hitting a bicyclist last week.
Schiano, the former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach in his first season with the Buckeyes, will be arraigned on Oct. 5 and is facing a $55 fine and $97 in court costs for the minor misdemeanor after the collision early last Thursday morning during a bye week.
Schiano was uninjured and hasn't missed any work with No. 2 Ohio State.
