COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State defensive tackle Adolphus Washington was cited for solicitation on Wednesday, putting his availability for the last game of a decorated college career in question.
A school spokesperson confirmed that the senior was charged late Wednesday night by Columbus police with a first-degree misdemeanor and is scheduled for an appearance in court on Dec. 17.
"Disciplinary action will be handled internally," the spokesperson said Thursday.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is currently out on recruiting visits and will address Washington's punishment when he returns to campus.
