Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said quarterback Cardale Jones suffered a migraine Wednesday night that forced him seek treatment at a hospital.
Meyer deemed Jones "fine," although Meyer added Jones would be limited in practice Thursday. The defending national champions open the season Monday night at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
"He had it once or twice in high school," Meyer said of Jones, a Glenville High School product, on his weekly radio call-in show on WBNS 97.1 The Fan.
Meyer described Jones' pain as an eight on a scale of 1-10.
