Ohio women's basketball | Ashland's Fralick starts own legend with coaching honor

Before and during the basketball season, Robyn Fralick got almost as many questions about succeeding legendary Ashland coach Sue Ramsey as she got from players during meetings and practices.

Ramsey won 367 games in 20 seasons, including an NCAA Division II national championship in 2013, with the Eagles before retiring.

Fralick, though, was much more than an associate coach being promoted to sit in the big chair.

“I got that question about following Sue so many times, and I answer that we are different people with different personalities,’’ she said. “To me, Sue is more than a coach.
