Looking back through the 2010s there have been few years that as far as college goes, Ohio State has not had one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. Along with this, the depth at the quarterback spot for the Buckeyes in the past decade is like nothing that we have ever seen in college football.
With the Buckeyes winning a national championship with their third-string quarterback in 2014, Joe Burrow sitting the bench Ohio State then going on to be the number one overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, and Tate Martell transferring to a highly respected Miami Hurricanes team with the intentions of being their quarterback, it appears that the days of Ohio State lacking at the quarterback position in terms of NFL success and representation are over.
