Spring has sprung, and for the 8th time in as many tournaments, Ohio State's men's basketball team has failed to advance to the Sweet 16. Meanwhile, a certain team from west of Detroit has done so for the fifth year in a row.
Sigh.
Chris Holtmann's record in March isn't stellar, to put it mildly. After his Buckeyes turned in a stellar defensive performance against Loyola, they couldn't stop sending Villanova to the charity stripe and a second-half run wasn't enough to dig out of the hole.
Note that Ohio State's women's basketball team did advance to the Sweet 16 Monday night, an hour or so after this weeks Dubcast was "in the can," as the saying goes.
