Ohio State's Logan Stieber named Big Ten's male athlete of the year

Ohio State senior Logan Stieber was named the Big Ten Jesse Owens Male Athlete of the Year, the conference announced today.

Stieber, a native of Monroeville, Ohio, in March became only the fourth wrestler in NCAA history to win four national titles. He went 29-0 as a senior. Stieber recorded an 11-5 decision over Mitchell Port of Edinboro in the 141-pound NCAA championship match on March 21 in St. Louis. He had previously captured 133-pound titles in 2012 and '13 and at 141 last season.

He finished his career with a 119-3 mark, winning his final 50 matches, and capped his college career by winning the Hodge Trophy, college wrestling's top award.
