On Monday, the Big Ten Conference unveiled their 2017-2018 all-conference selections as voted on by the coaches and the media. As a result of the Ohio State Buckeyes’ remarkable turnaround season, OSU is expected to pick up some conference post season honors today.
First, forward Keita Bates-Diop was unanimously selected to his second All-Big Ten team, following his honorable mention honor during his sophomore campaign of 2015-2016. This time he was named to the Big Ten’s first team.
Coming off of an injury-plagued season in which he only played in nine games, Bates-Diop responded by finishing second in the B1G in terms of points per game with 19.
