In one of the least surprising announcements in recent memory, today, the Big Ten Conference named Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week following his historic efforts in the still mind-blowing comeback against the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday night.
On the whole, Barrett went 33-for-39 for 328 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 95 yards, which was four more than Penn State’s entire team, including Heisman contender Saquon Barkley.
While he didn’t throw an interception, he did misplay a hand-off that resulted in a turnover.
