COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Joey Bosa was in scarlet. Cardale Jones was in gray. That was a 6-foot-6, 275-pound Ohio State defensive end on one side of the ball at Saturday's spring game, and a 6-foot-5, 250-pound quarterback on the other.
The talk between the two started before kickoff Saturday. It continued after the game was over.
On the field, Bosa got the first leg up on Jones, getting an easy sack on the sixth play of the game when the Buckeyes were going a little easy with the first-teamers on both sides and Bosa just had to get near Jones to record a sack.
