Cam Burrows was the first member of Ohio State’s already legendary 2013 recruiting class. Now, he hopes to be the latest from that group to make his breakthrough.
In 2013, he was beaten out by Vonn Bell and Tyvis Powell at safety. Last year, his season ended in October when he fractured a sesamoid bone in his foot that required surgery.
Burrows was held out of Ohio State’s first two practices this spring, but the junior said he expects to be back on the field today when the Buckeyes reconvene from spring break.
“It’s healing up really well,” Burrows said of his foot, estimating he’s “95-98 percent” healed.
