In some positive news, BuckeyeThon, which is the state of Ohio's largest dance marathon, raised $1,606,087.99 this weekend.

The annual 24-hour dance marathon is run by Ohio State students and raises money for pediatric cancer research. Proceeds are donated to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
This year's $1.6 million brings the overall total raised for childhood cancer research to over $11 million since BuckeyeThon's inception in 2001.
