Who says that spring scrimmages are meaningless?
Tell that to Ohio State’s Scarlet Team, which had to show up and shovel mulch Friday after losing last month's scrimmage, 28-17, to the Grey squad. Seriously.
The Scarlet team lost the Spring Game. Scarlet Team is now shoveling this. Don't be like Scarlet Team. #DontLose pic.twitter.com/Cl7PCwV9xb

No losing players appeared to be spared from mulch duty on Friday. Heisman candidate J.T. Barrett and returning All-B1G offensive lineman Pat Elflein were seen shoveling mulch -- as were the rest of the first-team offense and second-team defense.
