Nathan Tomasello and Kyle Snyder each won titles to lead Ohio State to a third-place finish in the Big Ten wrestling championships on Sunday in Iowa City, Iowa.
Penn State won the team championship with 150.5 points, followed by Iowa (127) and Ohio State (126). It was the Buckeyes' fifth consecutive top-five finish in the conference meet.
In the 125-pound final, No. 1-seeded Tomasello took down third-seeded Nico Megaludis of Penn State in the sudden-victory period and won 3-1. It's the second conference title for Tomasello, who has won 40 consecutive matches.
Snyder, seeded second at 285 pounds, scored takedowns in each period for a 7-4 decision over top-seeded Adam Coon of Michigan.
