The Ohio State women’s tennis team won its 10th consecutive match, drubbing Wisconsin 4-0 in a Big Ten tournament quarterfinal Friday in East Lansing, Michigan.
Miho Kowase was part of two match victories for the Buckeyes, teaming with Anna Sanford to help win the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Wisconsin’s Lauren Chypyha and Lauren Burich.
Kowase then earned OSU’s first singles point with a 6-1, 6-0 drubbing of Kendall Kirsch. Gabriella De Santis followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Maria Avgerinos to make it 3-0 and Ferny Angeles Paz closed out the match with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Sydney Rider.
