Ohio State has its second entrant into the transfer portal in the post-spring window.
Caleb Burton, a redshirt freshman wide receiver who did not play any snaps for the Buckeyes in 2022, entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.
A four-star recruit ranked as the No. 132 overall prospect in the 2022 class, Burton did not play at all as a true freshman. He appeared to build momentum during bowl practices last December, when he lost his black stripe, and C.J. Stroud identified Burton as a Buckeye who had “done a hell of a job” and “gotten a lot better.
