In preparing for Ohio State on Saturday, the Michigan State defense has been made to watch what many players consider the Spartans’ ugliest performance last season.
Last November, J.T. Barrett threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns and Ezekiel Elliott ran for 154 yards and two scores in East Lansing as the Spartans lost 49-37, tying their worst defensive showing since the 2011 Capital One Bowl.
