Jim Harbaugh left Ohio Stadium beaten but unbowed. The Michigan coach spent the majority of his press conference following a 30-27 loss to Ohio State in double overtime decrying a quartet of calls that went against his team and multiple others that didn’t go against the Buckeyes.
“I’m bitterly disappointed with the officiating today,” he said.
It was the first of six times Harbaugh used the word “bitter” during his press conference that lasted nearly eight minutes. The Wolverines were penalized seven times for 59 yards while Ohio State was called for only two penalties totaling six yards.
