Living where they do, Hawaiians are all too familiar with volcanoes. So most of the Islanders expected that their football team was walking into a destructive, if lucrative, situation when they traveled to Columbus to face Ohio State. The Rainbow Warriors had at least 1.2 million reasons to smile after a 38-0 loss to the Buckeyes, but they made far too many mistakes to walk out with a victory over the nation’s No. 1 team.
