The Ohio State Buckeyes are ready for their second game of the Ryan Day era as they prepare to take on Luke Fickell’s Cincinnati squad.
The Buckeyes opened the 2019 season with a 45-21 win over Florida Atlantic. Ohio State didn’t quite beat its 28-point spread, but it was still a solid first game considering the personnel changes -- both on the field and on the sidelines -- compared to 2018. Most prominently, Justin Fields seemed to be everything Ohio State could have hoped for, throwing for 229 yards and five touchdowns in his first game as a Buckeye.
