The Buckeyes opted for traditional attire in the Rose Bowl – but not too traditional.
When No. 8-seeded Ohio State faces No. 1-seeded Oregon in "The Granddaddy of Them All," the Buckeyes will wear their standard road uniforms. The white jerseys will feature the trademark Rose Bowl patch but will not feature the gray sleeve stripes the program has worn in previous College Football Playoff appearances.

Ohio State's decision to wear traditional threads comes after a weekend in which the Buckeyes wore all-scarlet uniforms for a 42-17 win over Tennessee in the College Football Playoff first round.
