The Buckeyes are going to a destination they have not been since the 2008 season.
After a week off after not participating in the Big Ten Championship, the Ohio State Buckeyes are headed to Glendale, AZ for the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, and will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The Buckeyes (No. 7 in the final College Football Playoff Top 25) and Irish (No. 8) have played each other five times in the past, and the Buckeyes lead the overall series 3-2. The last time these two played was back in 2006, when the Buckeyes led by Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, and Santonio Holmes defeated the Irish also in the Fiesta Bowl.
