Jim Tressel, who led Ohio State to the 2002 college football national championship but also was forced to resign in May 2011 in the wake of an NCAA investigation, was announced as a member of the school Varsity “O” Hall of Fame class of 2015 on Wednesday.
Now the president of Youngstown State, the former Buckeyes coach already had been selected as member of the 2015 College Football Hall of Fame class announced in January. But this time it was the place he once called home letting him know that, no matter what happened to end his run, he has a spot there in perpetuity.
