Bolstered by a pair of perfect scores from the women’s tennis and women’s cross country teams, Ohio State remained in good stead with the NCAA in the latest Academic Progress Rate.
The Buckeyes’ tennis and cross country programs had 1,000-point APR scores for the four-year period ending with the 2014-15 academic year, the latest data available. The perfect score was the seventh consecutive such mark for the women’s tennis team and seventh overall for the women’s cross country program.
Those sports led the way among the 31 Ohio State programs measured. Four other sports had APRs at 990 or above – women’s hockey (997), men’s hockey (995), women’s golf (991) and women’s lacrosse (990).
