Ohio State sophomore forward Jae'Sean Tate is out for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury, the school announced Tuesday. He will have surgery Friday.
Tate reportedly underwent an MRI on his left shoulder after sustaining an injury during the Buckeyes’ 65-62 overtime win against Nebraska on Saturday. It apparently revealed an injury severe enough to sideline him for the rest of the year.
Ohio State expects Tate to make a full recovery and be ready in time for the start of practice next season.
Tate is Ohio State’s leading scorer in Big Ten play averaging 11.
